Ledgestone LE Disc Schedule Announced

Ledgestone LE Disc Schedule Announced

Ledgestone Disc Golf is happy to announce the molds that will be released to vendors for the 2025 Ledgestone Limited Edition disc program. The Ledgestone team is also happy to showcase several marquee stamps that will be part of this year’s program. Ledgestone has spot for 3 to 4 additional vendors to be in the 2025 program. Interested vendors can email nate@lisopen.com . Ledgestone will also have limited discs available exclusively at the Ledgestone retail website throughout the year and will have a special wave during the Ledgestone event. This announcement is the 2nd in our Twelve Days of Ledgestone.

With this announcement, Ledgestone is doing a 30% off sale for any Ledgestone LE discs on the site. These include any of the special Wave discs and Ledgestone exclusive LE discs that the team has dropped throughout the year. This sale will only run today, December 10th exclusively at the Ledgestone retail website. This discount will be above and beyond any other discounts offered. “We wanted to add some extra value with our 12 Days of Ledgestone promotion this year, and that is why we are offering these daily, exclusive discounts,” said Heinold.

Coming up with the disc schedule is always a unique and fun challenge for the Ledgestone team. “Over the years it has become more challenging to try to differentiate the discs we run each year to satisfy what everyone wants to see. It’s not easy to pick what we do, but that is part of the challenge and the fun,” said Nate Heinold, Ledgestone CEO. One of the main benefits for the Ledgestone program is bringing back molds that do not get a lot of attention in stock runs, or molds that are out of production. “A lot of these older discs have great markets, and sometimes releasing these older discs in a limited run will reinvigorate fans of that disc, or bring new fans to certain discs,” continued Heinold. Some unique discs making a comeback this year in the program include the Magnet, Surge and the Reaper.

In order to help demand for the product, Ledgestone did make a decision to run slightly less molds and have smaller production runs in 2025. “Based on market conditions and how hard it was to promote so many molds, we did make the decision to slightly reduce the number of molds in our program for 2025,” said Heinold. The Ledgestone team will drop 5 molds in the first drop and then 12 molds in the following three drops. This gives the marketing teams of the participating vendors an easier time to promote all of the new products and allows the Ledgestone team to spend more energy on promoting less molds, allowing a higher quality product to get to the market in terms of disc and stamp quality. “We ran our first Ledgestone vendor disc in December of 2014, and its been an amazing 10 years. To commemorate that milestone, one of our 2025 discs will be a throwback to the first Ledgestone disc (and stamp) we ever ran: the original CryZtal Flx Zone,” said Heinold.

Ledgestone Marketing Manager Paul Johnson coordinates the program with Nate and has brought new perspective since he joined the team 3 years ago. “Every year is a fresh challenge to raise the bar, and for 2025, we’re throwing some serious innovation into the mix. Discraft has rolled out a lineup of exciting new plastics and processes, setting us up for one-of-a-kind releases. Some highlights include Jawbreaker Z Flx, the upgraded Titanium blend, Big Z Swirl, and—most eye-catching of all—brand-new TriFoil stamping,” said Johnson. Stamps are also getting an upgrade in 2025. In 2025, Ledgestone is teaming up with a powerhouse roster of artists, including returning favorites Kelly Baber (Kobone Art), Brian Allen, and Michael Barnard, plus some fresh new talent we’re pumped to introduce.

The Ledgestone fundraiser discs are one of the primary fundraising methods for the tournament. “All of the vendor support for these discs really helps make Ledgestone what it is. We are extremely grateful to all of the vendors who have supported us over the years,” said Heinold. This year the largest vendor supporting the program will be OTB Discs.

Every year Ledgestone tries to differentiate their releases by experimenting with new plastic combinations or bringing back older plastic variations. This year, Ledgestone is running several discs in the Classic ESP plastic (non swirl), debuting Big Z Swirl plastic, running several TriFoil discs, experimenting with CryZtal Lightweight plastic, and running several molds in the 2024 tour series plastic Jawbreaker Z Flx.
