Ledgestone Disc Golf Partners with Intellitix to Launch RFID Technology at Select 2026 Events

Ledgestone Disc Golf is partnering with Intellitix, a global leader in event technology, to bring RFID access control and cashless payments to the sport’s biggest events in 2026.

The rollout begins at the Supreme Flight Open, the kickoff DGPT event of the season, and will continue at the PDGA Champions Cup, PDGA Pro World Championships, and the DGPT Tour Championship. This marks the first large-scale RFID deployment in disc golf.

A New Standard for the Fan Experience

  • Unified payments:  Spectators will receive an RFID badge linked to a credit card or preloaded with cash at on-site kiosks, allowing fast, contactless purchases across all vendors.
  • Access control:  RFID portals will streamline entry and secure restricted zones like VIP and player areas.
  • Scale:  At Pro Worlds, over 50 vendors will use the platform.

This proven technology, widely used at major festivals and live events, will reduce wait times, improve security, and simplify operations across the board.
