Exclusive On-site Disc Releases: July 30-August 1

Every year Ledgestone blows away the disc golf world with limited-edition releases and collectible gems.

In 2023, the three-foil 20-year Anniversary Buzzz released at the fly mart in stunning, sell-out fashion.

This year will be even better as player-specific molds are released to celebrate and support Team Discraft. The in-person releases will come in a variety of ways including autographs, pictures and meet-and-greets with Team Discraft, Team Ledgestone and their specific disc molds.

The goodies will start appearing as early as Tuesday, July 30.

Coming off of his Champions Cup triumph in April, major champion Andrew Presnell makes his return to Central Illinois. He’ll enjoy this release alongside his fans at Lake Eureka from 3PM-5PM. Team Discraft captain and fan favorite, Paul Ulibarri will be on site to join him.

  • Andrew Presnell X Swirl Drone - The Drone is a master in overstability. It will not turn over in a headwind and is a popular choice for forehand throwers and power backhand players because of the predictable fade. The Drone has a beaded rim and is very domey, giving it a deep feel in the hand. The boxey, stiff rim pairs nicely with the flexible feel of this run. The X Swirl plastic is extremely tacky with an incredible grip. Right out of the box, this run lacks nothing in overstability.

  • Paul Ulibarri Midnight CryZtal Zone - The Zone is Discraft’s most popular approach disc. Good for both forehands and backhands, this extremely overstable mold can handle significant torque and always provides a reliable finish to its flight, no matter the angle. This run of 300 is beautiful to look at in the barely translucent black plastic. The stamp is three-foil with a textured, shatter mosaic look to Paul Ulibarri’s classic “Uli” logo. They have medium stiffness with heavy overstability.

Paul McBeth, Paige Pierce, Missy Gannon, and Anthony Barela will be on site at Lake Eureka from 6PM-8PM to meet fans, sign autographs, and celebrate the special releases of their discs.

  • Captain’s Thrasher - This distance driver was designed specifically for Team Discraft co-captain, Missy Gannon. It has the same feel as the standard Thrasher with an ever-so-slightly taller profile and added overstability, adding in a trusted fade to the the hyzer-flip bomber. Unlike the standard Thrasher, slower arms won’t be able to turn this disc over. These First Runs come in beautiful ESP Swirl plastic.

  • Paige Pierce CryZtal Fierce - The Fierce is an understable putter with a beadless rim and strong glide. It is a popular choice for long putter throws, short approaches, and putting. This putter was designed specifically for Paige Pierce upon her return to Discraft at the end of 2019. This run has medium stiffness with a neutral-to-understable flight in the CryZtal plastic. The stamp features a left-facing toucan head with a smiley face eye encircled by large crystals.

  • Anthony Barela X Paul McBeth Big Z Luna -  The Luna’s beadless rim, limited glide, and overstability inspire confidence in both high-speed and low-speed arms. The overstability also makes the Luna a popular choice for a throwing putter. It was the first disc in the Paul McBeth Line from Discraft. The Luna has flourished alongside the popularity and success of the 6x World Champion and has become one of the most used putters on the planet. This special run of Luna is a collaboration between McBeth and Anthony Barela. It features a twist on the classic Luna stock stamp with an enlarged font, a spiked “N” and snake-scaled lettering, in addition to a silhouette of the classic Lake Eureka water tower built into the “A”. The bright opaque coloring makes this run pop. These Lunas have medium stiffness with a straight flight.

  • Anthony Barela Full Foil Zone - The Zone is Discraft’s most popular approach disc. Good for both forehands and backhands, this extremely overstable mold can handle significant torque and always provides a reliable finish to its flight, no matter the angle. The stunning, foil full holographic art runs rim-to-rim with a deep blue and magenta theme on top of jet black ESP plastic. Spiraling out from the center is a coiled rattlesnake, tongue flickering and eyes narrowed, as it prepares to strike its victim. Anthony Barela’s classic “AB” logo watermarks the snake’s body.

  • Anthony Barela Glo Venom - After being out of commission for years, the Venom mold was tweaked in 2023 and brought back into production. It boasts a similar feel to the Force, but has increased glide and overstability. The Venom brings supreme overstability to your distance driver selection without sacrificing a comfortable grip. Its flat profile makes it a perfect candidate to fight headwinds. It’s a popular choice for forehand and overhand throwers because of its predictability. This run features a custom Big Z stamp of a Predator-inspired battle snake reaching a robotic hand toward its prey. These Venoms are stiff with a pop top and predictably overstable. The almost completely opaque plastic makes the glow component shine even brighter when the lights are off.

  • Anthony Barela CryZtal Zone - The Zone is Discraft’s most popular approach disc. Good for both forehands and backhands, this extremely overstable mold can handle significant torque and always provides a reliable finish to its flight, no matter the angle. These Zones have medium stiffness and predictable overstability. The stamp outlines a defensive, coiled up snake with an Old English font spelling out the Discraft star’s name.

  • Missy Gannon CryZtal Thrasher - The Thrasher is an understable distance driver used by all skill levels. For more recreational players, this is a trusty go-to driver for flex shots and big distance. For experienced players, the Thrasher becomes a hyzer-flip bomber or controlled turnover driver. This limited run of 150 discs has the standard Z feel and flight.

  • Ben Callaway Jawbreaker Swarm - This very overstable midrange fills the slot between the Zone and Raptor. It can handle extreme torque and fights the wind with expert precision. The thin profile and rim make for a comfortable grip. This run has a stiff rim and an incredible grip in the Jawbreaker plastic. The Swarm beats in nicely to add a hint of glide before the reliable overstability kicks in. The Ben Callaway-inspired Lord of the Rings stamp is a circle of Middle Earth’s Tengwar script with Callaway’s logo so you can rule your local course like the One Ring.
  •

  • Ben Callaway Jawbreaker ESP Undertaker - This fairway driver has a moderately overstable flight, but is great for battling the wind. It holds a hyzer line well, but can also be thrown flat to provide high-speed turn before fading out with an overstable finish. It is popular for both forehand and backhand players with a comfortable rim grip. It is a slightly understable compliment to the Vulture. Ben Callaway’s Lord of the Rings theme continues with a stamp featuring orc general Gothmog alongside the Witch-king of Angmar. These Undertakers are relatively gummy and season in quickly to give a straight flight with predictable fade. They have incredible grip and bring colorful Jawbreaker flecks into the pastel-colored ESP plastic.

  • Paige Shue Jawbreaker ESP Cicada - With more control than a high-speed driver, the Cicada is consistently straight, yet adaptable, allowing players to shape shots with versatility. Hyzer-flips and carving up tight lines in the woods are the calling card of this glidey fairway driver. This run is grippy with a firm rim and medium stiffness. These Cicadas feature lighter weights as well making the effortless straight flight even more attainable to all skill levels. The world’s loudest insect sits front and center on this custom stamp for the former World Champion.

  • Michael Johansen ESP Scorch - The Scorch is an understable driver with an overstable finish. It is famous for providing signature “S” flights and can be handled by players of all skill levels. The slightly domey flight plate allows for added glide and increased distance even at slower speeds. It has similar flight characteristics to the Surge SS, but a much different feel in the hand. This run is tacky with great grip and will beat in nicely to bring added flight time and a gentle, drifting turn before fading out. The old-school feel to this stamp features Michael Johansen’s silhouette, ponytail extended, as he laces a drive down the fairway.
