Exclusive On-site Disc Releases: August 2 & 3

Every year Ledgestone blows away the disc golf world with limited-edition releases and collectible gems.

In 2023, the three-foil 20-year Anniversary Buzzz released at the fly mart in stunning, sell-out fashion.

This year will be even better as player-specific molds are released to celebrate and support Team Discraft. The in-person releases will come in a variety of ways including autographs, pictures and meet-and-greets with Team Discraft, Team Ledgestone and their specific disc molds.

The goodies will continue to appear on August 2 and 3.

Friday, August 2

Following Day 2 of the Ledgestone Open, Team Ledgestone will be on site at the Fly Mart in Morton for a disc signing session. Catch Brian Earhart and Sullivan Tipton’s new releases with them in person from 5PM-8PM.

  • Brian Earhart Ti Swirl Cyclone - This narrow-rimmed fairway driver is controllable for all skill levels. Its long, straight flights with small high-speed turn and a gentle, but predictable, fade make this disc a favorite across generations. Though out-of-production at Discraft, the old-school Cyclone bears a strong resemblance to the modern-day Passion. The historic mold has been brought back in a limited run of 300 discs. It will be the first run to feature Brian Earhart’s brand-new logo depicting a front-facing bear with heart-shaped paw pads. This is a two-foil stamp with chains and multicolored flowers stemming from the center of the new Bearhart design. These Cyclones have a bit more stability than a standard Passion in this plastic.

  • Sullivan Tipton Ice Swirl Quakes - The Quake is a workhorse, overstable midrange. Great for both forehands and backhands, this disc can handle any torque to push forward with a strong fade. This stamp shakes the earth with Sully’s love for pickleball. This run is both stiff and overstable. The subtle swirls in the translucent plastic give off a beautiful metallic sheen in the sunlight.

  • Jawbreaker Z Flx Luna - The Luna’s beadless rim, limited glide, and overstability inspire confidence in both high-speed and low-speed arms. The overstability also makes the Luna a popular choice for a throwing putter. It was the first disc in the Paul McBeth Line from Discraft. The Luna has flourished alongside the popularity and success of the 6x World Champion and has become one of the most used putters on the planet. This run of Luna is split into two different stamps. McBeth receives his own Ledgestone Edition Tour Series disc with one tour series stock stamp while the other half feature an intricate pattern complete with moons and stars and a powerful depiction of the Roman deity amongst the cosmos. These Lunas have beautiful Jawbreaker swirls infused in the Z Flx plastic and fly consistently straight.

  • Brodie Smith X Swirl Zone OS - The Zone OS is the most overstable approach disc on the market. It will exhibit almost zero glide and head straight into its fading arc immediately upon release. Even on a normal anhyzer, the Zone OS rotates into its fade also immediately. Windy conditions will have no impact on this disc. Though a bit boxier than a standard Zone on the upper edge of the flight plate, the two molds feel very similar in the hand. This run is extremely tacky with incredible grip. The rim is firm with an overall medium stiffness. Ground play is all but eliminated in the X Swirl plastic as it almost completely absorbs impacts.

  • Holyn Handley Fly Dye Vulture - The Vulture is an overstable fairway driver. It is known for its controllability and is generally referred to as a well-seasoned Punisher. Power arms will be able to get the Vulture to provide a small amount of high-speed turn. This special run of 200 discs in honor of Holyn Handley comes in both standard Fly Dye as well as the popular Flag Dye. They fly like standard Z. The stamp depicts the crest-like bust of a vulture with a unique feather pattern framing “HOLYN”.

  • Aaron Gossage Jawbreaker ESP Nuke OS - This extremely overstable distance driver brings heavy, consistent fade even in the wind. The Nuke OS gives confidence to any thrower looking for a high-speed shot that will finish hard on all occasions. Its wide, thick rim matches the feel of a Nuke, but adds even more overstability. The Jawbreaker specks bring a signature look to the standard ESP pastel colors. A tacky grip makes for a great feel in the hand. A double-necked goose is primed for a fight on this custom stamp for Aaron Gossage.

  • Ezra Aderhold Jawbreaker ESP Nuke - The Nuke has been dominating courses around the globe since 2009 and has become one of the most popular distance drivers in the world. This high-speed driver sports a thick, wide rim and holds its overstability even for power throwers. It is a popular choice for both forehand and backhand shots. These Nukes are pop-top bombers with low stiffness and trusted overstability. Explode the baskets at your local course with “Nukes Babyyy” like this custom stamp.

  • Chris Clemons Jawbreaker ESP Meteor - The Meteor is an understable disc with tremendous glide. It is perfect for turnover lines and control shots, especially in the woods. When thrown at high speeds, it can be used for hyzer-flip shapes. When thrown at low speeds, it still has the stability to hold a hyzer line. A fiery Clemonade meteor is hurtling through space and crashing off the stamp on the face of this custom run. These Meteors are tacky with low stiffness and fly straight as an arrow. Enjoy the colorful specks of Jawbreaker in ESP plastic.

  • Valerie Mandujano Colorshift Z Cicada - With more control than a high-speed driver, the Cicada is consistently straight, yet adaptable, allowing players to shape shots with versatility. Hyzer-flips and carving up tight lines in the woods are the calling card of this glidey fairway driver. This run has medium stiffness and a tacky feel. The metallic-look of these Cicadas shimmer in the sunlight to bring extra pop to the custom stamp design depicting Valerie Mandujano swinging a lasso on the back of a bronco. There are only 200 discs in this run and these Cicadas tend to fly on the more understable side.

  • Adam Hammes CryZtal Raptor - The Raptor is an overstable fairway driver capable of fighting strong winds. It has a flat flight plate and comfortable rim depth for both forehand and backhand grips. It was designed to be a longer, driving version of the best-selling Zone. This limited edition run of 200 Raptors is stiff and overstable. The bright, translucent plastic is clean and helps highlight the attacking owl with talons extended on this custom stamp.

  • Jawbreaker ESP Glo Kratos - This beaded putter has limited glide and overstability, inspiring confidence in both high-speed and low-speed arms. The overstability makes the Kratos a strong candidate for a throwing putter as well as a putting putter. It boasts a very similar flight and feel to the Luna with the addition of a bead, helping hold the Kratos straighter in the air for longer periods of time. This run is grippy with medium stiffness. The god of strength stands resolute with his double-edged battle ax as his presence dominates the cosmos in this awe-inspiring stamp. It is made even more beautiful with the coloration of the Jawbreaker flecks swirling through the opaque ESP plastic.

  • Chris Dickerson Midnight Z Buzzz - Discraft’s flagship disc is the Buzzz. This premier, straight-flier will hold any line you put it on. The versatility of the Buzzz makes it the most dependable midrange on the market. This run of 250 adds to the collection of special releases Discraft has done over the years through the Buzzz’s popularity. Chris Dickerson’s robot chicken stamp is back on the face of the translucent black plastic. These Buzzz’s feature a stiff rim, a small amount of give within the flight plate, and a straight flight with predictable fade.

  • Corey Ellis UV Glo Buzzz - Discraft’s flagship disc is the Buzzz. This premier, straight-flier will hold any line you put it on. The versatility of the Buzzz makes it the most dependable midrange on the market. Even less plentiful than Chris Dickerson’s Midnight run, this run of 150 for Corey Ellis changes from clear to blue in the sunlight. They have added overstability and a comfortable grip in the hand. The custom stamp features a guitar-playing astronaut rocking out amongst the stars.
