The Finale - Drivers

The most anticipated drop of the year is upon us.

It’s bigger and better than any other drop and carries a name worthy of its grandeur: The Finale.

This year’s highlight drop contains 25 molds and two specialty sets with a wide variety of putters, midranges, fairways and distance drivers. We’ve brought you some old classics in brand new plastics for the first time, some popular discs with special colors, and a collection of custom commissioned stamp designs that are sure to blow your mind.

To help you sift through all the amazing options and choose the perfect discs for your game, we’ve analyzed each mold to tell you how it flies, what it looks like, and what makes it special so you can be prepared when the discs go live at

www.shopledgestone.com on July 24.

We’ve separated The Finale into putters and midranges, drivers, and specialty sets. Let’s take a look at the fairway and distance drivers.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

UV Glo Undertaker - This fairway driver has a moderately overstable flight, but is great for battling the wind. It holds a hyzer line well, but can also be thrown flat to provide high-speed turn before fading out with an overstable finish. It is popular for both forehand and backhand players with a comfortable rim grip. This run changes to a deep blue color when exposed to sunlight and begins to glow when the sun goes down making the pixel art stamp pop. These Undertakers fly straight and true with a predictable finish.

Z Swirl Xtreme - This low-speed, overstable fairway driver is designed for advanced players and is useful for its heavy fade and ability to fight any wind conditions when distance isn’t needed. Now out-of-production at Discraft, the Ledgestone Edition Xtreme has returned in limited quantity. This run is durable, grippy and dependable. Rock on with the sign of the horns as the stamp gives a lightning-encircled nod to the “xtreme” nature of heavy metal.

Z Passion - The Passion is a neutral fairway driver perfect for a precise and straight flight. Designed specifically for Paige Pierce, the Passion features a unique and pronounced outer rim with an almost Banger GT feel underneath. It is very similar to the old-school Discraft Cyclone. In standard Z plastic, these Passions fly straight and true with limited fade and the durability to last for years at a peak level of performance. Devour the chains with this special run like the carnivorous plant dominating the Z Passion’s custom stamp!

CryZtal Sparkle Athena - As a straight-to-overstable fairway driver with strong glide, the Athena dominates middle distances on any course. It is both controllable and predictable with a comfortable rim width. Beyond a stunning appearance, the CryZtal Sparkle plastic adds overstability to the sixth mold in the Discraft Paul McBeth Line, making this a very beefy run. An incredibly complex and multidimensional stamp brings the Goddess of Wisdom to the forefront.

ESP Glo Cicada - With more control than a high-speed driver, the Cicada is consistently straight, yet adaptable, allowing players to shape shots with versatility. Hyzer-flips and carving up tight lines in the woods are the calling card of this glidey fairway driver. A tacky ESP feel in the hand meets a touch of trusted overstability in the Glo blend, making this a special run of Cicada with incredible grip. The custom stamp adorns the loudest insect on the planet with battle armor as it takes flight toward the chains.

Colorshift Z Vulture - The Vulture is an overstable fairway driver known for its controllability. Power arms will be able to get the Vulture to provide a small amount of high-speed turn while newer players will trust in the Vulture’s fade as a consistent hyzering driver. The godly Egyptian bird is adorned in a royal broad collar as it fixates on its beholder with one beady eye in this custom Ledgestone Edition stamp. In the stamp’s background, the pyramids are framed by the sun, reminding you this run of Discraft Vulture changes colors. This run is sparkly and glidey with a natural feel in the hand and a dependable overstability allowing slight high-speed turn with a predictable fade.

Colorshift ESP Scorch - The Scorch is an understable driver with an overstable finish. It is famous for providing signature “S” flights and can be handled by players of all skill levels. The slightly domey flight plate allows for added glide and increased distance even at slower speeds. It has similar flight characteristics to the Surge SS, but a much different feel in the hand. The tackiness of these Scorches brings added grip to this run while sporting the ability to change pigments when exposed to different amounts of light. Once again, the 2024 stamp depicts a Godzilla theme, this time bringing in the King of Monsters’ rival, Kong.

Ti Sparkle Force - This max distance, overstable driver is built for big arms looking to throw far. The Force’s heavy overstability allows it to resist turning over, even at high speeds. On anhyzer angles, this disc works hard to flex out and fade at the end, maximizing flight time and distance off the tee. This run emboldens the durability of standard Z, while effectively combining it with the grip of ESP. Power arms will enjoy this run’s stiffness and will be able to get longer, turning flights before the overstability kicks in. Donkey Kong sprints ahead with a big grin on this year’s stamp!

Lightweight ESP Swirl Nuke - The Nuke has been dominating courses around the globe since 2009 and has become one of the most popular distance drivers in the world. This high-speed driver sports a thick, wide rim and holds its overstability even for power throwers. It is a popular choice for both forehand and backhand shots. The lightweight aspect of this run will allow slower arms to experience the same world-renowned flight that power players are able to achieve with a max-weight Nuke. The flight plate on this run has some give to it with a pop-top and a great feel in the hand. The bursting swirl pattern of the 2023 ESP Tour Series plastic makes these Nuke’s pop out, combining colors nicely with a street graffiti-inspired stamp.

Jawbreaker Glo Raptor - The Raptor is an overstable fairway driver capable of fighting strong winds. It has a flat flight plate and comfortable rim depth for both forehand and backhand grips. Designed to be a longer, driving version of the best-selling Zone, this specific run beats in to add a touch of glide to an otherwise meathook of a driver. The Jawbreaker plastic also brings in the aspect of superior grip to combine with a  glow-in-the-dark characteristic.

Jawbreaker ESP Venom - The Venom brings supreme overstability to your distance driver selection without sacrificing a comfortable grip. Its flat profile makes it a perfect candidate to fight headwinds and take the wind out of play. It’s a popular choice for forehand and overhand throwers because of its predictability. After being out of commission for years, the Venom mold was tweaked in 2023 and brought back into production. It boasts a similar feel to the Force, but has increased glide and overstability. This Jawbreaker-infused ESP run is the most grippy Venom run on the market, bringing in maximum spin generation and the ability to fly longer distances. These Venom’s have a pop-top with a lot of give on the inner flight plate and pair the visual Jawbreaker look with the feel and durability of ESP.

Jawbreaker ESP Mantis - The Mantis stormed onto the scene in 2013 as Discraft’s Ace Race prototype disc. It quickly became a niche favorite for its controllable, understable flight. This fairway driver can be maneuvered through the woods on several different angles. In addition, its domey flight plate gives extended glide and is famous for adding extra distance with minimal effort. This run is grippy and has a slightly soft feel in the hand. It beats in quickly to become a perfect hyzer-flip candidate with minimal fade.
