2026 Ledgestone Course Schedule: A Fresh Rotation for Every Amateur Division

2026 Ledgestone Course Schedule: A Fresh Rotation for Every Amateur Division

For 2026, Ledgestone is delivering the most wide-ranging course rotation the event has ever offered. One of the clearest pieces of feedback from our annual player survey was the desire for more variety from year to year. Players want to see different courses, different styles of golf, and a fresh challenge when they return. We listened — and the result is a reworked schedule for every Amateur and Age-Protected division.

Every AM division is playing a new schedule compared to 2025. That means every pool sees at least one different course than last year, and most are playing a truly rebalanced mix of venues. There are no new layouts planned for 2026, and no new courses being added, but the story this year isn’t about building new — it’s about rotating smarter. While some divisions will only see one course change in the schedule, some will see three new courses compared to 2025.

A Full Refresh Without Reinventing the Map

Rather than expanding the course list, 2026 focuses on using existing venues in new and player-driven ways. The entire Amateur side receives a new slate, and pools are seeing courses they did not touch in 2025.

A few highlights from the refreshed rotation:

  • MA1 once again earns a round at Eureka Temp, but also returns to McNaughton for the first time in several years.
  • MA40 gets a well-balanced mix with McNaughton, Wildlife, and Sunset, offering three distinct competitive environments.
  • FA1 will take on both Sunset Hills and Kennel Lake, a premier combination for top-level FA1-style competition.
  • MA2 shifts heavily toward the Morton area, with rounds at Kennel Lake, Northwood Blue, and Brady.
  • MA50 will play Northwood Black Shorts, a change designed to better match challenge and playability for this pool.

These examples only scratch the surface — nearly every division sees meaningful change in 2026.

Flex Starts, Side Events, and Even More Ways to Play

Beyond the tournament rounds, 2026 will feature a packed schedule of opportunities to experience Ledgestone’s courses and festival atmosphere.

  • 17 Flex Start C-Tiers, including two chances to play Lake Eureka in full DGPT tournament conditions.
  • Three Disc Downtown events, bringing disc golf into the heart of Peoria and Morton.
  • SlotShot is coming to Ledgestone, offering an interactive, high-energy experience for players and spectators.
  • The event schedule continues to feature favorites such as the Dye Academy, the Ice Cream Socials, Pizza Parties, Night Golf, clinics, and more.

Ledgestone’s downtown footprint continues to grow, with expanded family-friendly activities such as inflatables, disc decorating, and a mini course. A full schedule can be found at this link.

Major Improvements Coming for 2026

For our 16th year, we are investing in meaningful upgrades across the entire event:

  • Smoother, faster AM check-in thanks to expanded staffing and improved processes.
  • Travel-partner pool requests for MA1, MA2, MA3, and MA4, allowing players who travel together to compete in the same pool.
  • An enhanced Flymart designed to draw a larger and more diverse vendor lineup.
  • More hydration infrastructure, ensuring every course is stocked with abundant water and ice throughout the week.
  • Expanded VIP amenities, including more seating options and additional perks for Gold and Silver pass holders.
  • Continued investment in side events, with further additions expected to be announced in 2026.

The Largest Disc Golf Event in the World Continues to Grow

Ledgestone will once again welcome more than 2,500 players, maintaining its position as the largest disc golf event on the planet. The new course rotation, expanded event schedule, and infrastructure upgrades are all designed to give players the best possible competitive and festival experience.

This year’s event is proudly supported by Discraft and ZÜCA, longtime partners who continue to invest in the growth and excitement of Ledgestone. The 16th annual Ledgestone Open will take place July 30th to August 2nd with registration opening 1/1/26 exclusively at Disc Golf Scene.

A Word from Tournament Director Nate Heinold

“Each year we take player feedback into account when crafting the course schedule. We believe we have crafted our best schedule yet, which balances player feedback, geographic flow and variety of courses. We are super excited to welcome our players back for our 16th year. Its been an honor to host this event nearly half of my life, and I am looking forward to continuing to showcase everything we have to offer in Central Illinois over the next 16 years.”
