Z Metallic FLX Zone

The Zone is Discraft’s most popular approach disc. Good for both forehands and backhands, this extremely overstable mold can handle significant torque and always provides a reliable finish to its flight, no matter the angle.

The Z Metallic FLX plastic is going to bring even more overstability than a standard Z Zone. The FLX portion brings a bendy feel compared to other Zone runs which tend to be stiff. This added gumminess minimalizes skip upon contact with the ground, reducing unwanted action away from the basket and minimalizing roll-a-ways. The metal flecks within the translucent plastic will give the bright disc colors extra shimmer and vibrancy. This was part of a limited run of 6000 discs.

Most used disc in my bag

The Zones in my bag are the discs I use the most, often on short drives or technical wooded courses. On longer fairways they become my primary upshot disc, forehand or backhand. They also cash putts from C2 and sometimes C1 in windy conditions. I bag two of these Gems, a stable one as advertised here, and a beat in one for straighter flights or a longer panning anhyzer flight. A must have for a Discraft fan! 🥏🥏

I lost an ESP zone and replaced it with this one and I have loved it, the FLX makes it feel grippy and I can rely on it to sit once it hits the ground, haven’t lost faith in the zone because of this plastic!
