Discraft Stratus

The Stratus midrange disc is a reliable addition to any player's bag. Known for its versatility, it's a favorite among beginners and slower arm speed players. It's a great tool to learn disc control or to throw uphill standstills and is also a trusted disc for roller shots. This disc is equally useful for experienced players who need a dependable disc for right turning holes or anhyzer shots. Its lightness and ease of glide make it forgiving even against bad techniques. Its feel in hand is another reason why it's recommended for all skill levels.

Who Uses the Discraft Stratus?

Alexis Kerman: The Stratus is the perfect understable midrange because it’s complimentary to the Meteor, but even more flippy. I would use this disc on super wooded courses to help me when I need to throw slow turning backhands through tight lines. It’s a great disc if you don’t have a strong distance forehand because you can flip this up on hyzer to hit your line, and then it will stand up and turn the entire way.

Brian Earhart: If you throw 300 feet or less you’re truly missing out if you haven’t thrown a Stratus. Another great old midrange mold from the Discraft lineup with a really smooth understable flight.

Michael Johansen: The Stratus is a flippy disc that I have used for cut rollers and right turning throws when I need something very understable.
