Ledgestone TD Nate Heinold is excited to announce the 2023 Ledgestone AM player’s pack, along with this year’s added cash. This is the 12th and final announcement in our Twelve Days of Ledgestone promotion. This year the tournament will add a Ledgestone record $85,000 of added cash while providing an insane player’s pack to amateur players. The tournament also plans on giving another sizable donation to charity, with the primary beneficiaries being St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Paul McBeth Foundation.
With the final day announcement, Ledgestone is giving customers a gift card for every $50 purchased. Essentially for every $50 that customers spend today at the Ledgestone retail website, 20% of that purchase will be sent back to the customer as a gift card for a future purchase. For example, if a $150 purchase is made today, the customer will receive a $30 gift card. This offer will only run today, December 23rd exclusively at the Ledgestone retail website. “We wanted to add some extra value with our 12 Days of Ledgestone promotion this year, and that is why we are offering these daily, exclusive specials,” said Heinold.
So what exactly will Amateur players be looking at in their players pack? Through their partnership with GRIPeq, Ledgestone has once again worked with GRIPeq to release an exclusive disc golf bag model to all players playing the event in 2023. The Ledgestone team did extensive research after the 2021 and 2022 events on what exactly amateur players wanted to see in their player packs, and that research helped mold the plans for 2023. “The investment we are making in our AM players is off the charts. Logistically this will be the most challenging Ledgestone we have ever run. At the same time, we couldn’t be more excited for next year’s event!” exclaimed Heinold.
Here is this year’s players pack that all Amateur and Junior players will receive:
- Exclusive GRIPeq Bag
- GRIP6 Custom belt
- Pair of Tomahawk Shades/Discraft sunglasses
- Special Tournament Shirt from Paragon
- Tube of Zanfel Poison Ivy Product
- 4 Discraft Limited Edition discs
- Special hat
- DryV Bag
- Tournament Patch
- Merrell Shoes Discount Coupon
- Two free meals at the event
- And more!
All players will be receiving additional coupons in their players packs, as well as other items. In addition, all players will receive two free meals (Friday and Saturday nights) and free ice cream at two separate events. For those players who cannot play the event, the event will once again provide the opportunity to purchase a players pack at a discounted cost. That option is a limited option and details can be found here. The GRIPeq bag that players will be getting will be a special, limited edition color. “We quickly came to a deal with GRIPeq after the 2022 Ledgestone event and started working on design options. Luckily for us, the design team has come up with something that will blow things out of the water,” said Heinold.
VIP’s will be treated to a great pack and will get exclusive viewing and parking access at this year’s event. VIP’s will have guaranteed and exclusive viewing areas at Northwood Black. The event does expect limited, daily admission passes to be available at Northwood. Registration for spectator packs opens on 1/1/2023 at 6PM CST. If you cannot play in the event, this is your best bet to watch the event! You can purchase tickets by clicking this link.
Grip Equipment is acknowledged by many as designers and producers of the world’s premier disc golf bags. Established in 2009, GRIPeq’s passion for user-centric design and innovation and penchant for unparalleled product quality, durability and customer service continues to broaden their role in the industry and amplify GRIPeq's presence as one of the most recognized and desirable brands in Disc Golf worldwide.
As for the pros, this year will see a record amount of added cash of $85,000, which tops the previous record set in 2022. The event will be one of two DGPT Elite+ events on the schedule in 2023. Ledgestone attributes this increase in the added cash to the partnership it has formed over the last 8 years with Discraft. “Discraft goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need to run a successful event. This increase of added cash is directly attributable to the success of our 2022 event and our Ledgestone pro shop. Without Discraft providing us great and unique products to sell, we wouldn’t be able to continue to make these investments in the event,” said Heinold. The Ledgestone retail website launched in January 2020 and quickly allowed the tournament a better way to market Ledgestone and raise funds for the event. Proceeds from sales from the website directly help the Ledgestone event continue to improve and get better. “Without the success of the website, we wouldn’t be making deals with strategic partners like GRIPeq to provide this kind of player’s pack. We sincerely appreciate all of the support that everyone has given us,” said Heinold.
Finally, the tournament is proud to work with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Paul McBeth Foundation. These two organizations remain the primary beneficiaries of the Ledgestone’s charitable efforts. Since 2014 the Ledgestone team has donated $532,000 to charity. At the Ledgestone event many of the volunteers for the event are connected to St Jude. St Jude has a local children’s research hospital in Peoria, and the event is proud to continue to support St Jude’s mission that ensures that no family ever pays for care needed when a child gets cancer. Ledgestone TD Nate Heinold is one of the founding members of the Paul McBeth Foundation and is the Chairman of the BOD of the Foundation. The Foundation’s goal to spread disc golf into underserved areas is one that is shared by the Ledgestone team.
