Course breakdown: Par: 59. Length: 7,230 feet. Baskets: Discraft Chainstar Pros.
McNaughton can test some arms with its rolling hills and tight, densely-lined fairways. Half of the holes on this course are over 360 feet, and players finish on Hole 18 with a 1,000 foot downhill trek. While there are a few open holes, the majority of the course requires accurate lines off the tee to negotiate the ample trees and vegetation shaping the gaps. Navigation note: Players must cross a road to reach the final two holes.
Signature holes (and holes to watch out for):
Hole 4 - A tight downhill tunnel shot is required to reach the open area around the pin on this 360-foot Par 3.
Hole 10 - This Par 4, 367-foot climb has an intimidating right turn into a narrow uphill lane while firing blind at the basket from the tee.
Hole 11 - Drives must hug the wall of trees on the left of the hole to successfully navigate three successive small windows to the green on this 365-foot Par 3. Once there, you’ll have to putt through a circle clogged with trees.
Hole 18 - McNaughton closes out with an open, downhill 1,000-foot Par 5 that can be a welcome relief from the tight lines earlier.
Course History: Established in the early 1990s.

Hole 11’s basket is tightly guarded by numerous trees in the circle.
